This Terms of Service agreement (the “Terms”) constitutes a legally binding agreement between you, the user (“you” or “User”), and Candor References, Inc., together with its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Candor References, Inc.", "Candor", "we," or "us"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the website located at
www.joincandor.com and related sites and services (collectively, the “Website”), including any content, functionality, and services offered through the Website, and any other products or services provided by Candor (collectively, the “Services”).
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY, AS THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, REMEDIES, AND OBLIGATIONS. BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICES, YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS OR THE PRIVACY POLICY, YOU MUST NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES.
1. Scope of Agreement
These Terms apply solely to individuals who access and use the Services for the purpose of exploring and engaging with job opportunities (“Candidates”). These Terms do not apply to employers or other hiring entities using the Services to recruit talent. Companies that utilize the Services for hiring purposes are subject to separate contractual terms, which may be found in their service agreement with Candor. 2. Services Provided
Candor operates a tech-enabled recruiting platform through which Candidates may create professional profiles and submit other related information for the purpose of identifying, matching with, and being considered for employment opportunities. Candor facilitates the presentation of Candidate information to third-party hiring companies ("Hiring Partners") for such purposes.
Candor does not charge Candidates for access to or use of the Services. All fees related to the Services are paid by Hiring Partners.3. Account Registration
In order to access certain features of the Services, you may be required to register an account. Account registration is available only via direct sign-up or through a valid Google account. By registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to maintain and promptly update your account information as necessary.
You may not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity, including your affiliation with a current or former employer. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Candor immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
4. Candidate Content and License Grant
You retain ownership of any content, data, or materials you submit, post, or otherwise make available through the Services (collectively, “Your Submitted Content”). By providing Your Submitted Content, you grant Candor a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable license (with the right to sublicense through multiple tiers) to use, reproduce, adapt, distribute, publish, publicly perform, publicly display, prepare derivative works of, and otherwise exploit Your Submitted Content in connection with the operation, promotion, and improvement of the Services.
This license expressly includes the right for Candor to share Your Submitted Content with Hiring Partners and their designated representatives for the purposes of evaluating and considering you for employment opportunities. You understand that you will not receive any compensation for such use and that Candor is under no obligation to use any of Your Submitted Content.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant the foregoing license and that Your Submitted Content does not and will not infringe or violate the rights of any third party.
5. Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You further agree not to:
Candor reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in Candor’s sole discretion, violates this Section, including without limitation, removing the offending content from the Services, suspending or terminating the account of such violators, and reporting such activities to law enforcement authorities.
6. Third-Party Content and Links
You understand that the Services may include content generated or provided by third parties, including other users. Candor is not responsible or liable for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any such content.
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. Candor does not endorse and is not responsible for such third-party content, services, or practices. You access third-party websites at your own risk.
7. Proprietary Rights
Except for Your Submitted Content, the Services and all content and materials included therein, including but not limited to all text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, software, and the design, structure, selection, coordination, and arrangement thereof, are owned by Candor, its licensors, or other providers and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
8. Modifications to the Terms
Candor may revise and update these Terms from time to time in its sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when posted. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes.
9. Termination
Candor may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. CANDOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
IN NO EVENT WILL CANDOR, ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, OR DIRECTORS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE.

While Candor endeavors to partner only with Hiring Partners who adhere to fair hiring practices, we do not control or guarantee the actions or decisions of such third parties. You acknowledge and agree that Candor shall not be liable for the acts, omissions, or decisions of any Hiring Partner, including any discriminatory or biased conduct.
If you believe that you have experienced discrimination or bias in connection with the Services or from a Hiring Partner introduced via the platform, you are encouraged to report such incidents to us at
