This Privacy Policy applies to individuals (“Candidates” or “users”) who use the Services to explore job opportunities. It does not apply to hiring entities or companies using the Services to recruit talent. Those parties are governed by separate agreements with Candor. We collect personal information when you register or use the Services. This includes:

First and last name
Email address
Company and job title
Profile photo
IP address and device information
Any other user-submitted content, including resumes, professional data, or content describing you as a candidate

We also automatically collect data about your device and browsing activity through cookies, log files, and third-party analytics tools.‍

3. Use of Personal Information

We use your personal information to:

Provide and manage the Services
Create and share your candidate profile with Hiring Partners
Communicate with you about job opportunities and service updates
Improve the Services through analytics and feedback
Enforce our Terms of Service and protect platform integrity
Comply with legal obligations

We may also use anonymized or aggregated data for research, internal reporting, or marketing.

4. Sharing of Personal Information

We may share your personal information:

With Hiring Partners, to present you for relevant job opportunities
With third-party service providers (e.g., analytics, hosting, communications, infrastructure) bound by confidentiality agreements
As part of a business transfer (e.g., acquisition or merger)
To comply with legal requirements or protect the rights and safety of Candor or others

Candor does not sell your personal information.

5. Fairness and Non-Discrimination

Candor is committed to equitable treatment of candidates. We do not knowingly partner with Hiring Partners that discriminate based on protected characteristics. However, we cannot control Hiring Partner behavior and are not liable for any discriminatory actions taken by them. If you believe you have experienced bias or discrimination in relation to the Services, please contact support@joincandor.com.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You may:

Access or update your personal information by logging into your account or contacting us
Request deletion of your personal information by emailing support@joincandor.com
Opt out of promotional communications via the links in our emails

European residents have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (e.g., GDPR), including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of their personal data.
