Feedback frequently asked questions

Can feedback be kept private?

Feedback is private and one-on-one, meaning only team members paired to share feedback with one another can see that feedback. You’ll be able to see feedback that a team member has shared with you only when you’ve shared your feedback with them.

How do I request feedback from team members?

Setting up a feedback mission is simple! All you have to do is pick a team member to pair with, select a few feedback prompts and a feedback cadence. Feedback is always bi-directional, so you receive feedback only when you also provide feedback to your team member. This helps create a culture of development on your team.

What are best practices for feedback?

At Candor, our take on feedback is that it should be a key part of your routine as a team. Feedback shouldn’t come as a surprise on a quarterly performance review; it should be shared bi-directionally on an ongoing basis and should be centered around personal and professional development. Feedback should be peer to peer, manager to report and report to manager.

How is feedback tracked in Candor?

You can keep track of feedback you’ve given and received on an ongoing basis with Candor. We make it easy to track all current and past feedback in a dashboard.
